Job description:

We are looking for a Pipeline TD with experience in VFX and DevOps to join our visual effects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an efficient and automated production pipeline that supports high-quality visual effects creation, optimizing workflows for both artists and technical teams. This role focuses on hands-on development and technical problem-solving within a Linux- and AWS-based production environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and improve VFX production pipelines, focusing on automation, stability, and scalability. Collaborate closely with artists, supervisors, and other technical team members to design and implement solutions that optimize VFX production workflows. Automate repetitive production tasks and ensure consistency and reliability across pipeline tools. Implement and maintain pipeline services running on Linux-based servers and cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS. Integrate and support DCC applications such as Houdini, Maya, Nuke, and Python-based tools within the production pipeline. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of pipeline tools and services, including version control and release workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pipeline integration, software compatibility, and production workflows. Document pipeline tools, processes, and technical solutions to ensure long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Nice to have:

Experience working in agile development environments. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automation tools applied to pipeline development. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience supporting or integrating production management and asset tracking systems.
