Position: VFX Coordinator

Location: Oviedo, Asturias, Spain.

Employment Type: Contract.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive VFX Coordinator to support the visual effects production on our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daily tasks of the VFX team, ensuring that workflows remain efficient and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate communication between the different departments involved in VFX production, ensuring information flows effectively. Track the daily tasks of the VFX team, keeping tracking sheets and progress reports up to date. Assist in scheduling and resource allocation for VFX artists, ensuring project priorities are met. Coordinate daily reviews and feedback sessions with VFX supervisors and directors. Manage and organize the distribution of files and work versions between teams, maintaining quality control over data flow. Act as a point of contact to resolve logistical and administrative issues related to VFX production. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, summaries, and follow-up notes to keep all teams informed. Assist in the preparation of final deliverables, ensuring technical and creative requirements are met.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Production, Digital Media, Communication, or a related field. Previous experience in a VFX or post-production environment is desirable. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with project tracking software such as ShotGrid, Trello, or similar tools. Basic knowledge of VFX processes and tools is an advantage.

Nice to Have:

Experience in coordination or production within the film, television, or advertising industry. Knowledge of VFX software such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke, or similar tools. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment.
